BIOGRAPHY

Sandra began her education in the performing arts when she started taking ballet, tap and jazz dance classes at Borgo Sisters School of Dance in Royal Oak, MI at the tender age of five.  Shortly thereafter, when Sandra was six, she began taking voice lessons from Debbie Tedrick in Farmington, MI and started “star camps” at The Marquis Theatre in Northville, MI, subsequently leading to her first professional play as a munchkin in “The Wizard of Oz” (her line was “Follow the yellow brick road”) and then some.  Sandra also took theatre, choir, modern dance and writing classes at Interlochen Arts Camp for two summers, starting at the age of ten.

At twelve, Sandra commenced classes at The Second City Theatre and continued at both the Detroit and Novi, MI locations.  At thirteen, she was introduced to John Robert Powers and the world of film, television, and modeling.  Sandra was the Runner-Up in the Drama Monologue Competition and gained Honorable Mention in the TV Real People/Commercial and Sitcom Competitions at the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) Convention in Los Angeles in 2000.

Since then, Sandra has continued her education of the arts through Wayne State University, Washtenaw Community College, and Schoolcraft College, and has studied a bit of all the reknowned acting techniques, including the Sanford Meisner acting technique at Redbud Productions in Ann Arbor, MI and Method acting classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in West Hollywood, CA.  Stella Adler and Constantin Stanislavski acting techniques have also been covered in various acting and theatre classes at Wayne State University, Washtenaw Community College, and Novi High School.

A real seeker of truth, Sandra loves to keep learning and building on her already enormous and impressive set of skills.  Her immense knowledge is displayed through each character she portrays, including everything from crying on cue in “Sherome” (a short film by Dark Fortress Pictures LLC) to entertaining the masses as a Sexpert on Playboy TV’s “Foursome” and keeping us all on the edge of our seat in the upcoming thriller "Hollywood and Vine."  Sandra has a “work hard, play hard” kind of personality, and brings joy and honesty to all that she does, whether it be theatre, film, modeling, music, stand up comedy, or stunts.  Stay tuned for much to come from this cool, creative young lady!
